Supplier Expectations

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis considers the following key factors during the procurement decision making process for all products
or services:

   a) High quality products and services
   b) Quality customer service
   c) Cost efficient without compromising quality or service
   d) High ethics
   e) Financial viability

Office of Minority and Women Inclusion Material Contract Clause Requirements

Each contract the Bank enters into must contain a material clause committing the contractor to practice the principles of equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination in all its business activities and requiring each such contractor to include the clause in each subcontract it enters for services or goods provided to the Bank. This requirement applies only to contracts for services in any amount and to contract for goods that equal or exceed $10,000 in annual value, whether in a single contract, multiple contracts, a series of contract or renewals of contracts, with a single vendor.

Fraud Reporting

The FHLBI is committed to protecting its revenue, property, reputation, and other assets. The FHLBI has an Anti-Fraud Policy in place to support this commitment and to enhance its compliance efforts. This Policy addresses not only instances of possible fraud within the Bank, but includes fraud detected in our dealings with our members, AHP sponsors, and vendors. Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) regulations at 12 CFR Part 1233 place an affirmative duty on the FHLBI to report suspected fraud when it is detected. The FHLBI expects that all of its vendors and suppliers will report to it any instances of suspected fraud involving the FHLBI, whether it occurs inside or outside of the FHLBI. Such reports should be made either via the FHLBI Suppliers webpage by emailing such information to vendormanagement@fhlbi.com , or to the Bank's Financial Instrument Fraud Officer, Daniel A. Lane, at 317-465-0513 or dlane@fhlbi.com.
