Software Development Manager

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, you will manage a team of software developers to deliver successful results on both projects and maintenance activities. You will be responsible for managing the portfolio of internally developed applications and recommend strategies for future development and integration initiatives. You will provide input on technical aspects of the development environment including languages, tools, and configuration. You will be responsible for developing and enforcing policies, procedures, and best practices as they relate to software development.

Position requires a BS in computer science, information systems or related technical field and an advanced degree in a technical field is preferred. Proven previous success with 10+ yrs. experience in software development and 5 years management experience is required. Strong knowledge of software development best practices as well as in core development technologies (C#, .Oracle PL-SQL, ASP.Net) is expected. The candidate should also have strong customer-service orientation and excellent communication skills.

IT Controls Manager

This position will report to the Director of Information Technology. You will manage a team of analysts responsible for security compliance, security administration, business continuity planning, records management compliance, vendor management, budget monitoring, and IT purchasing. You will recommend strategies and provide oversight for these functions. You will work with other areas of IT to refine strategies, policies, standards, and procedures for each of these control functions and will provide monitoring and oversight to assure compliance.

The position requires a BS in computer science, information systems or related technical field. An advanced degree in a technical field is preferred. Related industry certifications are also desired. Proven previous success with 10+ yrs. experience in relevant area of IT and 5 years management experience is required. Related industry certifications are desired. Financial Instruments Accountant

The Federal Home Loan Bank has an excellent job opportunity for an experienced financial instruments accountant. Primary responsibility will be for the accounting of the Investments and Mortgage Backed Securities portfolios. You will assist in other areas of financial instrument accounting including hedge transactions, borrowings, and backup support to other accounting functions. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between the systems development staff, external software vendors, and the financial control division. You will provide financial information, cost analyses, and compliance-related data for the board of directors, bank management, and internal and external auditors.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in accounting and three to five years experience with financial instruments accounting or other commensurate experience demonstrating a thorough knowledge in accounting principles and internal control concepts. CPA preferred. MBS Portfolio Analyst

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis has an excellent job opportunity for an MBS Portfolio Analyst who will report to the VP, Senior Portfolio Manager. You will assist with creating pre-purchase security and funding analysis for the Bank's MBS portfolio and be responsible for completing MBS pre-purchase documentation. You will also be responsible for testing portfolio models and evaluating the results of MBS prepayment and default models. Software Analyst/Developer

Our bank is seeking a candidate who is results-oriented and comfortable in both .NET and Oracle development environments. We are seeking an experienced C# & Oracle PL-SQL programmer with extensive ASP.Net experience using web-based technologies.

Responsibilities include: defining and refining system requirements; creating scalable, distributed solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio, C# and Oracle PL-SQL; creating work analysis, requirements, design, and test plan documentation; perform unit testing and maintenance through diagnosis, analysis, and developing solutions to report system problems. Candidates must be able to demonstrate good time management skills.

Requirements include a BS in computer science and 3+ years strong, verifiable experience with Microsoft .NET development using C#, ASP.NET, other related internet technologies, Oracle database technology including PL/SQL, and SQL development. Other Microsoft technologies (VB, Office, SharePoint, etc.) required. Experience with Business Objects and Crystal Reports is a plus. Familiarity with financial systems and related concepts is preferred along with knowledge of System Development Life Cycle methodologies. Portfolio and Risk Analyst

Reporting to the VP, Risk Analysis Manager, your primary responsibility will be to provide financial, analytical and quantitative information to management to support risk management and investment decision making for Treasury and Investments. You will be assisting in Market Risk, Asset-Liability Management and Portfolio Analytics for the Bank’s Balance Sheet. You will have exposure to risk management and trading systems and will be working with fixed income and mortgage products and interest rate derivatives.

Requirements include a BS degree in finance, accounting, economics, science or other business related field; a minimum of three years experience working in a financial institution in financial analysis, risk management or portfolio management. Preferred, but not required, are: an advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, finance or business related field; professional certifications such as CFA, FRM or PRM; exposure to systems such as QRM, PolyPaths, Intex, Bloomberg; knowledge of prepayment and default models such as ADCO, LPS or Loan Performance. Position requires a high level of proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Excel and Access and strong analytical and quantitative skills.
