Affordable Housing Program (AHP)

The Affordable Housing Program (AHP) has developed into one of the most flexible funding sources available for housing projects. The goal of the AHP is to provide housing opportunities for families whose incomes are 80% or less of the area median. Since 1990 the FHLBI has awarded more than $152 million for single- and multi-family housing initiatives, with 10% of net earnings allocated for the program each year. The program can fund the acquisition, construction, or rehabilitation of properties for use as affordable housing.

Sponsors and interested parties are encouraged to contact one of our members with project ideas.
