Each year, FHLBank Indianapolis offers a variety of training opportunities to users of our community investment, affordable housing, and economic development programs.
In order to make it easier for you to keep track of upcoming training opportunities, we have built this page as a reference. Below, you'll find the dates, times, and registration information you need to get started using our programs in 2019.
COMMUNITY INVESTMENTS WORKSHOPS
At the Community Investments Workshops, our team reviews changes to affordable housing and homeownership-related grants as well as our community investment lending products. You’ll have plenty of time to review program changes and ask questions. Plus, the workshops provide networking opportunities for FHLBank Indianapolis members to connect with housing developers and community development practitioners to partner and access our programs.

Underwriting Affordable Housing Workshop, Indianapolis, IN
Underwriting a multi-family affordable housing development is complex. Aligning the underwriting standards of all funding sources, including those of the FHLBank Indianapolis’ Affordable Housing Program (AHP) and the member bank, can create a complicated finance structure.
FHLBank Indianapolis will be joined by a Member Financial Institution representative, a Housing provider, Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, and a LIHTC syndicator as we walk through the unique attributes of affordable housing finance from a funding perspective.
