Board of Directors

FHLBI is governed by a Board of Directors currently comprised of 17 member directors and independent directors from Indiana and Michigan. The Board is responsible for FHLBI’s overall management and oversight pursuant to the Federal Home Loan Bank Act.

    Robert D. Long

    Independent Director

    Bob Long is retired from KPMG, LLP where he had been the managing partner in Indianapolis, previously serving as a KPMG audit partner. He is member of the board for Beefeaters Holding Company, Inc., and is a member of the board and chair of the audit committee for Celadon Group, Inc. He is a graduate of Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

    Michael J. Manica

    Member Director

    Michael J. Manica is the President & CEO of United Bank of Michigan and has held various positions over the last 35 years. He is currently the treasurer of the Michigan Bankers Association (MBA), as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the MBA Service Corp. Mike has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.

    Larry Myers

    Larry Myers is President and CEO of First Savings Bank in Clarksville, Indiana. He served as chairman of the Indiana Bankers Association in 2015. Larry has also served as chairman of the Southern Indiana Economic Development Council and was the treasurer and founding director of One Southern Indiana. From 2013-2015, Larry represented Indiana on the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis' Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council.

    Christine Coady Narayanan

    Christi Coady Narayanan is President and CEO of Opportunity Resource Fund, a community development financial institution with offices in Lansing and Detroit, Michigan. She has held various positions with Opportunity Resource Fund and its predecessor organization since 1989, and served as its executive director from 1997 to 2004. Christi holds a bachelor's degree from Spring Arbor University.

    John Skibski is Executive Vice President and CFO of Monroe Bank and Trust in Monroe, Michigan. He has more than 25 years' experience in banking in various financial controls capacities. John holds a bachelor's degree and an MBA from the University of Toledo.
