Community Spirit Award

Honoring outstanding individuals that have shown great commitment to their communities.

Celebrating Community Involvement

The Community Spirit Award honors outstanding individuals from our member institutions who demonstrate exceptional leadership and efforts to create diverse, equitable and inclusive communities. Whether through a history of working to expand affordable housing and economic development opportunities in their community, a commitment to advancing the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion, or as an emerging leader in the field, Community Spirit Award recipients are those who have gone above and beyond to advocate for and champion their local communities by implementing unique strategies and forging vital partnerships.

FHLBank Indianapolis recognizes these efforts each year by bestowing the Community Spirit Award alongside a $5,000 donation in the recipients' honor to the charity or nonprofit organization of their choice.
