On March 27, 2025, FHLBank Indianapolis launched its newest affordable housing initiative, the Community Multiplier – Member Match program. Community Multiplier – Member Match is a grant program that allows member financial institutions of FHLBank Indianapolis to maximize their community impact by providing matching grant funds to non-profit organizations who are working on affordable housing initiatives within targeted priority areas.

The Community Multiplier program will provide grants between $25,000 and $125,000 to the selected non-profit organizations. With only a 10% match requirement, member financial institutions can multiply their community impact by leveraging FHLBank Indianapolis dollars. Member institutions may submit applications on behalf of multiple non-profit organizations, up to a $200,000 per-member cap.

FHLBank Indianapolis has committed $5 million to the program, which is open now. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis until exhausted or until October 1, whichever comes first.
