  • Konich, Cindy

    Cindy Konich

    President - Chief Executive Officer

    Cindy L. Konich is president and CEO of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, a wholesale bank with more than 350 bank, credit union, and insurance company members throughout Indiana and Michigan. Prior to becoming FHLBank Indianapolis President and CEO in 2013, she held several key leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. She joined the bank as Cash Manager in 1984. Konich earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and earned her MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. In 2010 the Indianapolis Business Journal recognized Konich as a CFO of the Year and in 2014 the Kelley School honored her with its Academy of Alumni Fellows Award. FHLBank Indianapolis ranks 5th on the Indianapolis Business Journal’s list of Largest Indianapolis-Area Private Companies.

    William Miller

    Executive Vice President - Chief Economist

    Bill Miller is Chief Economist for FHLBank Indianapolis. Previously, he was Chief Risk Officer, overseeing the bank’s enterprise-wide risk management and compliance function. Before joining FHLBank Indianapolis in 2011, he served as the capital markets corporate expert for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in Washington, DC, and from 1994-2008 he served as Senior Vice President in Financial Markets at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. Miller earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Texas Tech University.
  • Streitenberger, Deron

    Deron Streitenberger

    Executive Vice President - Chief Business Operations Officer

    Deron Streitenberger oversees the bank's member products and services including advances, credit, the Advantage Mortgage Purchase Program (MPP), affordable housing, and communications. Additional responsibilities include strategic planning, information technology, information security, and legal operations. Streitenberger joined FHLBank Indianapolis in 2013 and has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry including banking, consumer finance, mortgage, and insurance verticals. Previously, Streitenberger served as a member of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer at Republic Financial Indemnity Group and in numerous roles at JPMorgan Chase. He was as an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University and a consultant at the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland. Streitenberger earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and holds an MBA from St. Leo University.

    Gregory Teare

    Executive Vice President - Chief Financial Officer

    Greg Teare is responsible for capital markets, treasury, balance sheet forecasting, and the bank's portfolio investments and hedging strategies. Additionally, he oversees the funding and asset/liability management functions. Teare joined FHLBank Indianapolis in 2008 as Chief Banking Officer, overseeing the Advantage Mortgage Purchase Program and affordable housing and community investment programs. Teare's previous positions include Risk Management Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Seattle and Vice President and Director with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle. He earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Akron.

    Chad Brandt

    Senior Vice President - Treasurer

    Chad Brandt oversees the bank’s capital markets activities, including funding and debt issuance, investments, and market risk analysis. Brandt also manages the on-balance sheet loan assets for the bank's Advantage Mortgage Purchase Program. He joined FHLBank Indianapolis in January 2016. Prior to joining the bank, Brandt served as Vice President of Liquidity and Funding for BMO Harris Bank in Chicago and was Executive Vice President of Banking and Advance Products at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. Brandt holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Duke University.

    Shaun Healy Clifford

    Senior Vice President - General Counsel, Ethics Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer

    Shaun Clifford oversees the bank’s legal department and compliance program. She also serves the bank as Ethics Officer. She is responsible for providing legal guidance to all areas across the bank and works with the corporate secretary on board governance matters. Clifford brings extensive experience from the insurance industry where she served as in-house counsel and as a regulator. Prior to joining the bank, she was a partner on the Insurance Team at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP, an international law firm, where she served the firm as a member of the Management Committee and as Chair of the Women’s Forum for Achievement. Clifford holds degrees from both the University of Dayton and the Indiana University – McKinney School of Law.
  • Cunningham, Kristina

    KRISTINA CUNNINGHAM

    SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT – SR. DIRECTOR OF COMPLIANCE AND OPERATIONAL RISK ANALYSIS

    Kristina Cunningham oversees the bank’s compliance and operational risk departments. In her role, she is responsible for operational and information technology risk management, compliance, business continuity, and records management for the bank. Cunningham is also the bank’s primary liaison with our regulator, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, the Anti-Money Laundering Officer, Office of Foreign Asset Control Officer, and Financial Instruments Fraud Officer. Cunningham joined the bank in 2001 as a Senior Internal Auditor, serving later as the Manager of Financial Audit. Prior to joining the bank, she was a Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Cunningham holds an undergraduate degree from Indiana State University and an MBA from Anderson University. She holds a Certified Public Accountant designation and a Certification in Risk Management Assurance.

    Chris Dawson

    Senior Vice President - Chief Information Officer

    Chris Dawson is responsible for coordinating and delivering technology solutions to support the bank’s operations. He oversees information security, project management, governance, infrastructure and operations, enterprise architecture, business analysis, and solution delivery functions. Dawson is the recipient of the 2019 Indianapolis Business Journal’s Chief Technology Officer of the Year award. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an MBA from St. Leo University.

    Jonathan Griffin

    Senior Vice President - Chief Business Development Officer

    Jon Griffin is responsible for all business development functions to support the bank's member products and services. He also oversees the advance trading desk, strategic planning, market research and analytics, membership recruitment and applications, and member capital stock. Griffin joined FHLBank Indianapolis in 1996 as a Senior Credit Operations Analyst, serving later as the Advances Manager, then an Account Manager before being named Credit Services Director in 2007, where he oversaw all credit underwriting and collateral functions. Prior to joining the bank, he worked in corporate finance with Conseco. Griffin holds an undergraduate degree from Butler University and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He is a CFA® charterholder and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute.

    Senior Vice President - CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES AND DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION OFFICER

    Kania Lottie is responsible for the bank’s human resources and diversity and inclusion functions. She oversees the bank’s hiring, salary and benefits, and employee relations. Lottie previously served as the Director of Human Resources as well as Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. She was named Human Resources Professional of the Year by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce in 2019. Lottie holds an undergraduate degree from Ball State University, and an MBA and JD from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

    Brendan McGrath

    Senior Vice President - Chief Risk Officer

    Brendan McGrath is Chief Risk Officer for FHLBank Indianapolis. Previously, he was Chief Analytics Officer, overseeing the analytics team, which centralizes the bank’s subject matter expertise in credit, market risk, and model development to provide quantitative model support for the bank’s front line. McGrath joined the bank in 2000 and has experience in trading, fixed-income portfolio management, mortgage analytics, risk management, and quantitative analytics and financial modeling. Prior to his role as Chief Analytics Officer, McGrath was the Director of Credit Risk Analysis, where he oversaw all Enterprise Risk Management risk analysis and quantitative analytics for credit risk exposure. McGrath holds an undergraduate degree in finance and a graduate degree in accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He is a CFA® charterholder and holds a Certified Public Accountant designation.

    Gregory McKee

    Senior Vice President - Chief Internal Audit Officer

    Greg McKee oversees the bank's internal audit functions, including financial and information technology reviews and Sarbanes-Oxley testing. Additionally, he serves as the primary liaison with our external auditors. He began his career at FHLBank Indianapolis in 1996 as a staff auditor and was appointed audit director in 2006. Prior to joining FHLBank Indianapolis, he worked as a financial analyst at the National Futures Association in Chicago, the self-regulatory organization for the U.S. futures industry. McKee holds an undergraduate degree and MBA from Indiana University. He holds a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor designation.

    K. Lowell Short, Jr.

    Senior Vice President - Chief Accounting Officer

    Lowell Short is responsible for the bank's accounting, financial reporting and controls, corporate expense and vendor management and correspondent services functions. He joined FHLBank Indianapolis in August 2009 with over 25 years' experience in the financial services industry. Short served as a member of the board of directors and audit committee of One America Funds from 2007 to 2009. He was an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Forethought Financial Group from 2006 to 2007. Short also served as Senior Vice President at Conseco from 1990 to 2006, where he was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting functions for the company's insurance subsidiaries. Short holds an undergraduate degree from Olivet Nazarene University and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Short holds a Certified Public Accountant designation and a Bank Financial Management diploma from the American Bankers Association.

    MaryBeth Wott

    Senior Vice President - Community Investments Officer

    MaryBeth Wott manages the community investment department, which is responsible for administering the affordable housing and community investment grants and lending programs. Wott joined FHLBank Indianapolis in 1986 and began her career as a bank examiner. She currently serves on the Indiana Balance of State Continuum of Care Board, serving as chair of the Youth and Families committee. Wott holds an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Butler University.
