  • Konich, Cindy

    Cindy Konich

    President - Chief Executive Officer

    Cindy L. Konich is president and CEO of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, a 250+ employee, $65+ billion asset wholesale bank with more than 350 bank, credit union, and insurance company members throughout Indiana and Michigan. Prior to becoming FHLBank Indianapolis President and CEO in 2013, she held several key leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. She joined the bank as Cash Manager in 1984. Konich holds a BA in economics from Indiana University and earned her MBA from I.U.’s Kelley School of Business. She is also a board member of Pentegra Retirement Services. In 2010 the Indianapolis Business Journal recognized Konich as a CFO of the Year and in 2014 the Kelley School honored her with its Academy of Alumni Fellows Award. FHLBank Indianapolis ranks 5th on the Indianapolis Business Journal’s list of “Largest Indianapolis-Area Private Companies.”

    William Miller

    Executive Vice President - Chief Risk and Compliance Officer

    Bill Miller oversees FHLBI's enterprise-wide risk management and compliance function. Previously, he was the Bank's Chief Capital Markets Officer, overseeing all treasury and investments functions. Before joining FHLBI in 2011, he served as the capital markets corporate expert for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in Washington, DC, and from 1994-2008 served as Senior Vice President in Financial Markets at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. Bill earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Texas Tech University.

    Deron Streitenberger

    Executive Vice President - Chief Business Operations Officer

    Deron Streitenberger oversees the bank's Mortgage Purchase Program, the Affordable Housing and Community Investment Programs, Information Technology, Legal Operations, and Corporate Communications. Deron joined the Bank in June of 2013 and has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry including Banking, Consumer Finance, Mortgage, and Insurance verticals. Before joining FHLBI, Deron served as Vice President of Republic Financial Indemnity Group. He was as an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University and a consultant at the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland. Deron earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida, and holds an MBA from St. Leo University.

    Gregory Teare

    Executive Vice President - Chief Financial Officer

    Greg Teare is responsible for credit services, capital markets, treasury, balance sheet forecasting, and FHLBI's portfolio investments and hedging strategies. Additionally, he oversees the funding, asset/liability management, treasury risk analytics, and strategic planning functions. Greg joined FHLBI in 2008 as Chief Banking Officer, overseeing the Mortgage Purchase Program and Affordable Housing and Community Investment programs. Greg's previous positions include Risk Management Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Seattle and Vice President and Director with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle. He earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Akron.
  • Brandt, Chad

    Chad Brandt

    Senior Vice President - Treasurer

    Chad oversees FHLBI’s Capital Markets activities, including funding and debt issuance, investments, and market risk analysis. Chad also manages the on-balance sheet loan assets for the bank's successful Mortgage Purchase Program. He joined FHLBI in January 2016 as Senior VP-Treasurer. Prior to joining FHLBI, Chad served as Vice President of Liquidity and Funding for BMO Harris Bank in Chicago. Chad also brings significant Federal Home Loan Bank experience to the bank, having served as Executive Vice President of Banking and Advance Products from 2008 to 2011 and in other finance roles at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago from 2002 to 2008. Chad holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Duke University.

    Chris Dawson

    Senior Vice President - Chief Information Officer

    Chris Dawson is responsible for coordinating and delivering technology solutions to support the bank’s operations. He oversees project management, governance, infrastructure and operations, enterprise architecture, business analysis, and solution delivery functions. Chris graduated with a B.S. in Information Systems and Operations Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has an MBA from St. Leo University.
  • Griffin, Jon

    Jonathan Griffin

    Senior Vice President - Chief Business Development Officer

    Jon Griffin is responsible for all business development functions to support FHLBI's member products and services. He also oversees the advance trading desk, strategic planning, market research and analytics, the membership recruitment and application process, and member capital stock. Jon joined FHLBI in 1996 as a Senior Credit Operations Analyst, serving later as the Advances Manager, then an Account Manager before being named First VP-Credit Services Director in 2007, where he oversaw all credit underwriting and collateral functions. Prior to joining FHLBI, he worked in corporate finance with Conseco. Jon holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Butler University and an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute.
  • McGrath, Brendan

    Brendan McGrath

    Senior Vice President - Chief Analytics Officer

    Brendan McGrath oversees the analytics team, which centralizes the bank’s subject matter expertise in credit, market risk, and model development to provide quantitative model support for the bank’s front line. Brendan joined the bank in 2000 and has experience in trading, fixed-income portfolio management, mortgage analytics, risk management, and quantitative analytics and financial modeling. Prior to his role as Chief Analytics Officer, Brendan was the Director of Credit Risk Analysis, where he oversaw all Enterprise Risk Management risk analysis and quantitative analytics for credit risk exposure. Brendan earned a B.S. in Finance and an M.S. in Accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and is a CFA® charterholder and holds a CPA license.
  • McKee, Greg

    Gregory McKee

    Senior Vice President - Chief Internal Audit Officer

    Greg McKee oversees FHLBI's internal audit functions, including financial and information technology reviews and Sarbanes-Oxley testing. Additionally, he serves as the primary liaison with our regulator, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, and external auditors. He began his career at FHLBI in 1996 as a staff auditor and was appointed audit director in 2006. Prior to joining FHLBI, he worked as a financial analyst at the National Futures Association in Chicago, the self-regulatory organization for the U.S. futures industry. Greg received his BS in accounting and MBA in finance from Indiana University and holds a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor designation.

    K. Lowell Short, Jr.

    Senior Vice President - Chief Accounting Officer

    Lowell Short is responsible for the bank's accounting, financial reporting and controls, corporate expense and vendor management and correspondent services functions. He joined FHLBank Indianapolis in August 2009 with over 25 years' experience in the financial services industry. Lowell served as a member of the board of directors and audit committee of One America Funds from 2007 to 2009. He was an executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Forethought Financial Group from 2006 to 2007. Lowell also served as senior vice president at Conseco from 1990 to 2006, where he was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting functions for the company's insurance subsidiaries. Lowell earned his BS in accounting from Olivet Nazarene University, and an MBA in finance from Indiana University. Lowell is a Certified Public Accountant and recently earned a Bank Financial Management diploma from the American Bankers Association.
