Cindy L. Konich is president and CEO of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, a 200+ employee, $50+ billion asset wholesale bank with about 400 bank, credit union, and insurance company members throughout Indiana and Michigan. Prior to becoming FHLBI President and CEO in 2013, she had filled many diverse roles at the bank throughout her career, including Executive Vice President, Co-Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. FHLBank Indianapolis ranks 11th on the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 2016 list of “Largest Indianapolis-Area Private Companies."
Ms. Konich is also a board member of Pentegra Retirement Services. She holds a BA in economics from Indiana University and earned her MBA from I.U.’s Kelley School of Business. In 2010 the Indianapolis Business Journal recognized her as a CFO of the Year and in 2014 the Kelley School honored her with its Academy of Alumni Fellows Award. FHLBI has established itself as an expert in insurance industry lending best practices. Cindy and her team have also continued to grow the Bank’s highly successful Mortgage Purchase Program, giving community lenders affordable, reliable access to the secondary mortgage market.
