A former longtime FHLBank Indianapolis Board member and renowned supporter and advocate of affordable housing initiatives in Michigan and across the country has announced his retirement after 21 years at Cinnaire.
Jim Logue (right), a longtime chief operating officer and most recently chief policy and advocacy officer at the nonprofit community development financial organization, served as a Michigan Independent Director for the Bank’s Board of Directors from 2007 to 2021. During his Board tenure, he served as the chair of the Budget and Information Technology committees, and he was the catalyst in establishing a prominent Bank presence in Detroit, an initiative that resulted in the opening a centrally located downtown office known as the Hub.
“Jim helped the Board and our Bank achieve remarkable success in the affordable housing sector, thanks to his extensive national experience and intimate knowledge of our district’s needs,” said Cindy Konich, President and CEO of FHLBank Indianapolis. “More importantly, though, his vision and passion for helping others are inspiring and set a high bar we continue to model today.”
Before joining Cinnaire, formerly known as Great Lakes Capital Fund from 2003 to 2017, Logue established himself as a national and regional expect on affordable housing: 12 years as executive director of the Michigan State Housing Development Authority; executive director of the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency; director of programs and policy at the National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA); and deputy assistant secretary for multifamily housing programs at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development in Washington, D.C.
Logue was inducted into the Affordable Housing Finance Housing Hall of Fame in 2023.
