Jane MacKenzie is executive director of Northern Homes Community Development Corp., based in Boyne City, Mich., a private non-profit organization that creates and preserves quality affordable housing opportunities for Northern Michigan residents. With more than 20 years of experience, Jane develops new apartments, leads apartment rehabilitation efforts, and builds or rehabilitates for-sale single family homes. In 2005, Northern Homes created a Community Land Trust program that also manages several properties.
