Deron Streitenberger oversees the bank's member products and services including advances, credit, the Advantage Mortgage Purchase Program (MPP), affordable housing, and communications. Additional responsibilities include strategic planning, information technology, information security, and legal operations. Streitenberger joined FHLBank Indianapolis in 2013 and has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry including banking, consumer finance, mortgage, and insurance verticals. Previously, Streitenberger served as a member of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer at Republic Financial Indemnity Group and in numerous roles at JPMorgan Chase. He was an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University and a consultant at the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland. Streitenberger earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and holds an MBA from St. Leo University.
