Each year, FHLBank Indianapolis offers access to grants to assist our member financial institutions and their customers with purchasing their first home or rehabbing their existing home.

The grant programs we offer include:

• Homeownership Opportunities Program (HOP) to help first-time homebuyers with down payment, closing and/or counseling costs;
• Neighborhood Impact Program (NIP) to assist income-eligible homeowners with home repairs and accessibility modifications;
• HomeBoost Down Payment Assistance Program to aid minority and first-generation first-time homebuyers with down payment, closing and/or counseling costs assistance. The 2024 round opens August 14.

  • Step 1 - Using the links to the programs above, review the guidelines of the programs you hope to use to gain an understanding of the requirements.

  • Step 2 - Complete a Master Agreement and Registration to gain access to the programs and our online application system FHLBI.GIVES 

    MEMBERS WHO PARTICIPATED IN 2023 WILL RECEIVE A REGISTRATION RENEWAL EMAIL FROM FHLBank INDIANAPOLIS AND DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT THE AGREEMENTS BELOW.
